The Swedish Chamber Orchestra is a full-time ensemble of 39 players based in the city of Örebro (2 hours west of Stockholm). The orchestra has its home in the Örebro Concert Hall, where each member of the orchestra has a private practice room. The orchestra gives some 90 concerts a year including national and international touring (Lincoln Center, BBC Proms, Salzburger Festspiele, Europe and Japan etc). The orchestra records for BIS, Sony Classics, Naxos, Hyperion, SIMAX, Chandos etc.
Audition 1st round – pre recorded video
The first round is a pre-recorded video audition. Please send your CV and recording by email by 15th of January 2024 8:00 am at the latest to audition@orebrokonserthus.com.
The CV must include the following: complete address details including mobile and email, education, professional orchestral experience, competitions and other relevant information.

of March 2024. Applicants for the second round will receive a personal invitation by 16th of February at the latest.
